    I am so glad I found your site! The Father has been leading me to the knowledge that there is a entire half of the gospel that is being misrepresented. Reading Scripture has convicted me that G-d’s law has NOT been abolished! Trying to show others that the “grace only” doctrine is not only deceptive, but dangerous is frustrating.   4. I just found your site and was wondering if all the letters of Paul were written to the Jewish believers from the House of Israel and not Gentiles as we have thought? Thank You

The one thing that is never taught in mainstream theology is that there isn’t a ‘congregation or assembly’ somewhere called ‘the gentiles’. “Gentile” is an English transliteration of the Latin word ‘gentilis’ which means ‘belonging to the same people/nation’, from the Latin word ‘gens’ which means ‘tribe or clan’. The English word ‘Gentile’ is found nowhere in the Greek; the Greek word in every single New Testament usage is always “Ethnos”; Strong’s G1484, ἔθνος/ethnos. Strong’s Definition is: “a race, a nation, the nations.” The English word ‘gentiles’ should not be used in the Word of God, the only word that should be translated from ‘ethnos’ is ‘nations’.

      According to the Scriptures there are only two groups of people on earth: the chosen elect of God and everybody else; the children of Israel are His chosen people, and the nations, are everyone else. The chosen elect of God are those in covenant with Him, these are obedient and faithful, the citizens of the common-wealth of Israel. The rest are all of the other nations on earth.

      The apostle Paul was sent to those ‘nations’ outside of Israel to deliver the message-of-Messiah to the lost ten tribes that were divorced and exiled for their disobedience. These exiles were most certainly considered “ethnos/of the nations” by those living in Israel, as they were divorced from the Almighty and kicked out of the promised land. Paul was sent to give the message of salvation/deliverance from the bondage of sin that can lead to repentance, then forgiveness, and finally reconciliation with the Almighty.
      What does the text say?

      Acts 9:15 And the Lord said unto him, `Be going on, because a choice vessel to Me is this one , to bear My name before nations and kings–the sons also of Israel;

      Romans 9:22-29 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? As indeed he says in Hosea,
      “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’
      and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’”
      “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’
      there they will be called sons of the living God.’”
      And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved, for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.” And as Isaiah predicted,
      “If the Lord of hosts had not left us offspring,
      we would have been like Sodom
      and become like Gomorrah.”

      Since this ‘good news of Romans 9 above’ had to go out to the “nations” where the exiles were scattered like grain through a sieve (Amos 9:9), it has had the Divinely-Inspired additional benefit that, those who are not of the lost tribes would hear it also and then have the choice to covenant with the Creator! Yeshua said that this good news would not have gone to all the towns of Israel before He comes back (Matthew 10:23), so His intent was for the Message to forth to “all the towns where Israelites lived”. Since, at the time He spoke this, the state of Judea/Israel was pretty small and verses 16 through 23 of Matthew chapter 10 describe the disciples going out “among the nations”, it’s not difficult to surmise that this was their calling; to reach the exiled ten tribes “among the nations”.

      Again, the beauty of the Father’s plan is that anyone can “graft into” the Olive Tree (Israel), if they agree to the terms of the covenant; faithfully trust in the work of the Messiah, dying to self (burying the old man), ceasing from our sin (defined by God) and turn back to obeying God, serving Him in righteousness (again, defined by Him).

      All that being said, as a ‘sent-one’ (apostle), Paul wrote personal letters of admonition, encouragement or advice to specific congregations or to his disciples “among-the-Nations”. All of his teachings and doctrines were based on his unequaled knowledge of “the Scriptures” (the Law, the Prophets, and the Writings). His teachings never contradicted “the Scriptures”, ALL of his doctrines had to agree with and harmonize with ALL of “the Scriptures”.

      1. Mr. Wheeler, Thank you for your response. I did read the articles you recommended. I can see how God has been faithful to His covenant with is Bride Israel and even in her unfaithfulness,He has pursued her to win her back to Himself. This is truly a love story. I wonder if the way the Gospel has been preached is wrong? It seems as if It’s not so much trying to escape the fires of Hell, as it is an invitation to the Nations to the Great Wedding Feast, by entering into a covenant of marriage with Israel’s Bride-Groom through faith in Him as Israel’s Messiah and Lord. If you have any insight into this I would appreciate your thoughts.

        Your summation certainly is true; the ‘gospel’ has been taught only in partial truths, and in some cases no truth at all, for centuries. Besides all of the false man-made dogmas (Dispensationalism, Replacement Theology, Once-Saved, Always-Saved, Pre-tribulation Rapture, Hyper-Grace, Ecumenicalism, Bilateral-Ecclesiology) that have been added to the core belief system of mainstream Christian theology, critical doctrines and precepts have been thrown in the garbage.

        The main problem however, with the “system” of mainstream Christian theology is the false premise that the good news (gospel) is solely ‘belief in Jesus’; that only “academic belief” in His life, death and resurrection is needed to ‘enter the Kingdom of God’.

        Don’t misunderstand me, the fact that Jesus died, rose and is sitting at the right hand of the Father is definitely ‘Good News’! But that’s only the ‘Headline’, the greater context of the Creator’s ‘Gospel’ design has been completely ignored, or just tossed in the bin as no longer valid.

        Belief alone is useless and a deception of Satan; James 2:19 “even the demons believe”, and where has that gotten them? Thinking you’re “saved” by professing “I believe in Jesus” while continuing to walk in the sins that required His death is no ‘gospel’ at all; it’s pure delusion.

        Jesus came to preach the ‘good news’, “REPENT, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand… proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom” | Matthew 4:17, 23

        Almost everyone skips over the word ‘Repent’, they think they can just slide right by on ‘greasy grace’ straight to the Kingdom. “Repent” in the Hebrew is always H7725 שׁוּב/shuv, which is a “verb” and means ‘to turn back, return’. What was the will of God before Jesus arrived on the scene? It was His Instructions, Commandments, and Right Rulings. Jesus is telling them (and us) to return to the Father’s Instructions and Ways, and not to do what is right in our own eyes. Jesus came to show us the Father, His doctrines, His will ~ So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me. If anyone’s will is to do God’s will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.” | John 7:16-17

        The most critical error in mainstream Christian theology is that they teach, ‘because you claim belief, you are guaranteed eternal life’; that is pure delusion.

        John 5:28-29 28Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

        Here is Paul quoting the Master, ‘post-resurrection’ ~

        Romans 2:6-9 6He will render to each one according to his works: 7to those who by patience in good work seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, 9there will be wrath and fury.

        Again, Steve your comment is correct, the main thrust of the studies I recommended that you read do reveal that truth about Paul’s mission to the Nations; but the critical ‘gospel error’ in today’s mainstream theological doctrine is that they teach, “Jesus did it all for me, so I’m saved and good to go, there’s nothing I need to do for my part”… this is Pure Delusion!

        Put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness | Ephesians 4:24

        you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness | Romans 6:16

        The Bride that you mentioned in your comment ‘will make herself ready’, and because of it she is ‘clothed in fine linen, bright and pure’, and that “fine linen” is the ‘righteous deeds of the saints’… | Revelation 19:7-8

        If you haven’t already, I highly recommend that you read ‘Justification vs. Righteousness’ to understand how Paul defines the difference between the two.

        The ‘mainstream gospel error’ and the Romans chapter 2 verses above is actually the topic of the study I am currently working on, and should be ready to post soon; the Scriptural difference between salvation and eternal life.

  5. Mr. Wheeler,Thank you for your response. I look forward to reading your next post on the “mainstream gospel error.” Have you written much about the Bride of Messiah? From a Hebrew perspective,what is your understanding of 2 Cor. 11:2-3, about being espoused or betrothed to Yeshua now, but may not be presented to Him as a pure virgin when He returns? Will the Bride of Messiah (Israel) be made up of individual virgin brides who have remained faithful to Him during their betrothal? Also, does this mean that some believers who are betrothed to Yeshua will not be part of the Bride of Messiah because of their unfaithfulness and lose their salvation?

      I would recommend reading, ‘Why the Messiah Had to Die… and Rise Again!’, for an in-depth study on Yeshua as the Bridegroom/Husband of Israel.

      As far as your inquiry regarding 2 Corinthians 11:2, I read it as Paul warning his congregation in Corinth that he’s concerned that they might be led astray, and thereby corrupt themselves by some false doctrine or false prophet. Paul is telling them that his desire is for them (and by extension, us) is to maintain their ‘purity’. The word ‘pure’ in the Greek is ‘hagnos’, a cognate of ‘hagios’, which is almost exclusively translated as “Holy/Set-Apart”.

      ‘Hagnos’ in 2 Corinthians 11:2 has the definition of – “Sacred”, or set-apart; “Reverent”, fearful of and esteeming God; “Pure”, free from defilement.

      Paul is telling them (and us) to stay diligent, to always be mindful of the ‘Sacredness’, ‘Reverence’, and ‘Purity’ that we are to demonstrate now that we’re in Christ (v.3). The context of chapters 10-13 has Paul expressing his concern and fear that they are straying back to their old ways of sin and debauchery. This is not how the ‘betrothed’ of Messiah should behave.

      2 Corinthians 12:20-21 For I fear that perhaps when I come I may find you not as I wish, and that you may find me not as you wish—that perhaps there may be quarreling, jealousy, anger, hostility, slander, gossip, conceit, and disorder. I fear that when I come again my God may humble me before you, and I may have to mourn over many of those who sinned earlier and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and sensuality that they have practiced.

      He’s advising them (and us) to ‘examine ourselves in the faith’ lest we should fail the test ~

      2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

      Read 10:1 through 13:10 for the entire context of the dialogue.

      The Bride of Messiah/יהוה is the body-of-saints as a whole assembly. That is the type of relationship He is going to have with His ‘elect’ once they have ‘made their selves ready’ ~

      Revelation 19:7-8 the marriage of the Lamb has come, and ‘his Bride has made herself ready’; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and “pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

      As you can see, the text states ‘the bride’s righteous deeds’ is her “Pure” fine linen that she is clothed in for the wedding feast.

      As I see it, the Assembly/Bride of Messiah isn’t ready yet. We need to ‘examine ourselves and test’ whether we are walking out faith/belief in truth and righteousness, lest we fail to meet the test. I will be expounding on this in greater detail in the next study that I’m posting soon.

      In ancient Greek both “ω” and “ο” had very similar sounds, though the omega is thought to be a more elongated sound. Omega means ‘great O’ and omicron means ‘little O’. The two links I gave in the ‘Part 1: Mark 7:19’ study list both; Textus Receptus uses omicron and Codex Sinaiticus uses omega. The most common Greek translations pretty much split the two usages down the middle: Westcott and Hort, Nestle, and Tischendorf all use ‘ω’/omega. The Byzantine Majority Text, Greek Orthodox, Scrivener’s and Stephanus Textus Receptus all use ‘ο’/omicron.

      Also, of interest is the use of G2511 in the LXX. Katharizon is used only twice, once in Leviticus 14:11, and once in Malachi 3:3, both times spelled ‘καθαριζων’.

      The fact is though, we don’t have a recording of the pronunciations from 2,000 year ago. With Greek being such a common language throughout that ancient world, and disseminated throughout so many different cultures and dialects, pronunciation and spelling were almost certainly inconsistent.

      All in all, the word means the same thing with either spelling.

Every Israelite (including Jesus and the Pharisee’s of ‘Mark 7’) knew what this definition was: besides ‘all’ of the “plants yielding seeds’, it was ‘all’ of the “clean” animals listed in ‘Leviticus 11’. Would be better you write where you quote this statement, I really want to know its source.

        My source is the Scriptures; one was stated, “Leviticus 11”, which defines the living animals/creatures that are food. The other quote I mentioned is from Genesis 1:29, “And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.” I dropped that in there because the ‘food’ in the context of the discourse is “bread (grain)” eaten with unwashed hands | Mark 7:2,5.

        In the 1st century all “Covenanted Israelites” observed and kept the Instructions of God, “especially” Jesus. Everything Jesus did was in complete obedience to the Law of God given through Moses, including the food He ate. Did Jesus violate the Law of Moses? Of course not, we know that He didn’t, or He would have been a sinner and a false prophet.

        The Pharisees and Scribes were constantly testing Him, to see if they could prove Him to be a false prophet, so that they could get rid of Him. In the case of ‘Mark 7’ it back-fired on them; Jesus called them out, and stated that their man-made tradition of hand washing was not from the Law of Moses. He then chastised them for holding man-made traditions in higher authority than the Law of Moses, verses 7 through 12; the “true context” of the discourse.

        The purpose of this study is to show the critical issue at hand, which is that the lesson Jesus was actually teaching has been buried by a manufactured one that has been added by men in the past 100 years. Modern mainstream theologians/translators have added the parenthetical phrase ‘(thus he declared all foods clean)’ that is not in the original Greek, in order to steer us away from the “true context”. Whether it is done on purpose or in ignorance, it’s still misdirection and deception.

        Here is the disconnect: we have been taught for centuries that anything you can shove into your mouth is ‘food’, and that in times past, some of it was considered ‘clean-food’ and some of it was considered ‘unclean-food’. That premise is 100% Scripturally wrong! God NEVER said, ‘pig, crab, cat fish, dog, vulture, camel, etc. were ‘unclean-food’; He said, they were “unclean animals” and “NOT food” | Leviticus 11.

        If you haven’t already, I recommend that read all 4 parts of this study in their entirety for a complete understanding of what the original Greek actually states, and how the English interpretations have been twisted out of context; as well as, how these verses compare with the rest of the Scriptures.

  7. I have a question. In Hebrew psalms 119:126 reads.. it is time for you to act lord, they regard your law as void.. in Greek today it reads.. it is time for you to act lord, they break your law… I feel like those are not the same thing. Any input?

  8. Hi,I came across this site and am convinced coming from a free grace backround.
    I have two questions:

    1.Can I marry a regular christian woman who doesn’t follow the law,or must I marry a woman into messianic judaism to be equally yoked?

    2.I can shave right?the Torah says do not mar the corners of your beard,but most commentators says i refers to the assyrian custom style bard,not a prohibition against shaving.and even those Jews that believe it does,some of their halachic scholars say using depilatory creams are okay?

    I’m sorry if this is a shallow question.it’s just I look very islamic with a beard due to my coloring and more mediterennean features and get negative hostility from people everywhere if I have one.

      Thanks for taking the time to read my studies. I hope they are a blessing as you continue to study God’s Word.

      As far as marrying someone who believes in different god than you, the Almighty states ‘take care lest you make covenant with nations that worship other gods because they could lead you into worshipping false gods’ (paraphrase Exodus 34). “The Creator did also state though in verse 16 to the children of Israel to “not” intermarry with the seven nations in the land they were going into, as this would be a great yoke which would more than likely lead them away from the one true God. Getting married (making covenant) to anyone who is not in covenant with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is going to definitely make the relationship unequally yoked. There is also the command to the Priests to ‘not’ marry outside of the citizens of the common-wealth of Israel; they cannot marry anyone who is not an Israelite, Leviticus 21:15.

      Shaving “the edges” of the beard was a ritualistic sign/symbol of the pagan priests, so the Creator did not want any connection to false worship linked to Him. Also, cutting the hair from the sides of the head or the edges of the beard “for the dead” is forbidden, as this again was a way to worship falsely. You can shave off your beard if you prefer.
